june holidays is coming to an end. term 3 is coming. how sad.
it'll be a fast post, but probably long. cos its about two camps. HAHA.
Spec Course Phase 3 12/06-15/06
1st day:
okay. have to admit was pretty scared.
the day was pretty boring. loads of talks.
PC: was Bikremjit(however you spell it) changed to some guy i forgot the name
APC: Sholihin, Hazwan, Fang Xiang
2nd day:
GSK test. think i screwed it. but i passed it. loads of stupid qns. hey specialists, if you thought it was easy, you probably had a different set of paper, so in your face, HAHA.
had new friends alr. was in section 2. guy in charge of us was Fang Xiang. East 51st clt. quite a relaxed guy. had trainfire and ifc practical with him taking us. my section was rather cool. everyone was quite cool. yanru and i were the only girls.
3rd day:
mutuals. thought i did rather okay-ly.
no comments. forgot what i did too.
4th day:
hahaha POP day lo. my favourite cadet captain came for a look.
Third Sgt. was not unexpected. but rather disappointed. nvm, shant take it too hard. you get what you earn. maggie took it rather hard. sandy and sinyi second sgts, congrats. yanru and kiathoon, shockingly, company best and platoon best respectively. didnt bother me at all. haha.
yes, thats the end of a summarised spec course. bet i didnt put loads of things in, but spec course's not the main camp. and a motorcycle just scared me.
SEC THREE ADVENTURE CAMP 15/06-19-06
1st day:
went with kiathoon there. was REALLY excited. with my cherry red bag, my tidbits and all. HAHA.
called my favourite cadet captain at the customs.
then crossed the bridge to Malaysia.
went to Eagle Ranch Resort after stopping at Yong Peng.
Eagle Ranch was, uh huh. slept with kiat, fion, mayee, sandy, maggie.
Eagle Extreme Challenge: Muddy. Stupid pervert. My group: Fion, Adriel, Honghan, Yuhao, ME.
SUPERB. rather physically harming. HAHA. abrasions was the souvenier for the whole challenge.
Night walk, rather waste of time. i was scared BEFORE the walk, not during the walk. and the pervert took us for the walk. darn. oh there was a cat that disturbed us when we ate. screamed.
sedia-ed for 40 minutes after a whole long tiring day. Great.
2nd day:
slacky day. left the resort then went to down syndrome welfare home. was rather afraid at first.
but Amira, the girl we were taking care of, was rather friendly, and easy to manage. Great girl.
Came up with the dong dong qiang thing, lion dance thing. haha.
lunch-ed at restaurant. the following lunches and dinners were at restaurants :D
City tour. Had a bit of misunderstanding. Rather cool afterwards. Great.
Pearl International Hotel. Great.
Was great pretending to be the receptionist when we picked up calls in our rooms. Zhengyang actually fell for it. dumb.
de-brief was longgggggg.
3rd day:
DARK CAVE. walked a long way then started crawling. had a experience of total darkness and silence. crawled through mud, water, lizards and bats and maybe snake droppings, dust and who-knows-what. was a great experience. but i thought it was almost impossible that i've gotten through it all. if it wasnt for the ncc people's help, i might have just slipped and fell and be stuck there for who knows how long.
4th day:
Canyoning and rock climbing.
canyoning was superb. but the journey there and back was hurhur, BAD. could have slipped and fell and got lost. and it was the most injury-prone activity for me.
Rock climbing was made a big fuss by all of us because it was raining and we didnt want to do it.
some of us did it in the end, including me. i climbed like some part, then couldnt take it anymore. was really tough. it was real rocks with real spider webs okay. not some fakey rocks that you've probably done.
5th day:
Xun Ren Zhong Xue (Xun Zhong)
the people were great. superbly friendly. loved them. stayed there for only a while.
they were mostly chinese, because it was a delinquent chinese school. delinquent because it refused to close down despite the government's opposition.
standard was like raffles/hwa chong. considered one of the better schools?
(I JUST SAW A BUG. manzxzxxz.)
lunched then went back.
bought food stuff back to Singapore.
journey back was very heart breaking): haha.
I'LL MISS THE CAMP LOADSSSSSSS. AND ALL THE SEC THREE NCC GIRLS&GUYS.
